Ginger Vinaigrette

Every time I went to the local hibachi restaurant growing up, my favorite dipping sauce was the ginger & sesame vinaigrette. It took me a few tries before finally figuring out the recipe to make it myself. I recently found a bottled salad dressing very similar, but there’s pride in doing it yourself!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rice vinegar
  • 1/2 cup reduced sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil (dark, if available)
  • 2 teaspoons sesame seed
  • 2 teaspoons crushed garlic
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder (minced will work as well)
  • 2 teaspoons powdered ginger
  • 1 large carrot, peeled

Preparation

  1. Mix all ingredients well in a blender until smooth
