Every time I went to the local hibachi restaurant growing up, my favorite dipping sauce was the ginger & sesame vinaigrette. It took me a few tries before finally figuring out the recipe to make it myself. I recently found a bottled salad dressing very similar, but there’s pride in doing it yourself!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rice vinegar
- 1/2 cup reduced sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil (dark, if available)
- 2 teaspoons sesame seed
- 2 teaspoons crushed garlic
- 2 teaspoons onion powder (minced will work as well)
- 2 teaspoons powdered ginger
- 1 large carrot, peeled
Preparation
- Mix all ingredients well in a blender until smooth
